Memorial Day Weekend

We were able to go to Colorado for Katrina's High School graduation. It was a neat ceremony and then a wonderful party afterwords. She enjoyed high school, but is very excited for this next phase to begin. She will be attending the University of Northern Colorado, and will major in Elementary Education. I'm sure she will enjoy it and will be a great teacher someday.

It worked out great that her graduation fell on Memorial Day weekend. We were able to celebrate our 2nd Anniversary in Estes Park. We enjoyed visiting the place where he proposed to me and were able to eat at the same restaurant we ate at that night. It has been a wonderful two years and we look forward to the many more ahead. It was very refreshing to visit Rocky Mountain National Park, and it made us realize how much we miss the mountains!
It was also great to see so many friends and family. There were a lot of people at Katrina's party that we have not see since our wedding so it was fun to catch up. We also celebrated Andy's college graduation from CSU with Scott's family. He will be starting Law School this fall at Drake in Iowa. The timing also worked out so that Scott was able to help his parents move into a temporary apartment while they wait for their land in Kiowa to be divided. It was fun to see our little nieces Kaci and Brooke, we can't get over how fast they are growing up!
We truly love visiting Colorado and can't wait for our next trip out.
