Mid August Scott was able to be in an airshow on the southern coast of England. The airshow was in Eastbourne, and these are the white cliffs close to the town. Very beautiful! They flew 2 passes and flew lower than the cliffs, so the people standing on the cliffs could look down on the plane.
His co-pilot was John who was actually one of his students in Columbus. Small world!
It's hard to see in the picture, but the beach was pretty packed with spectators. It was a neat opportunity for Scott to be a part of this and hope's he'll get another chance to do a flyby somewhere else!
