Family Visits

We were very blessed in April to have 2 sets of visitors. The first weekend Scott's grandparents Mel and Esther Frohardt came to visit. It was great to see them. We showed them around the base and the city of Columbus. They came to Beans and Cream and I made Esther her first white chocolate mocha. It was fun to have them see our house and meet our little kitties. First they drove to Iowa to visit family and after they saw us they were on the way to Mobile, Alabama to visit more family. We are so glad they were able to make it out here.

The next weekend my Dad was able to come visit.

He was in Georgia and Alabama for three weeks for Air Force training so he came for a weekend visit to break up his time away from home. It was so nice having him here and he and Scott were able to work on their Air Force OPRs together. It was helpful for Scott to get some information from his Lt. Col father-in-law:)
It was perfect timing when my Dad got in because Scott was about to take off for a flight that afternoon. We were able to go to the end of the runway and watch him takeoff. He gave us a little wave with his airplane wings so we knew it was him. It was great! As you can see from the pictures our kitties loved the company and Daisy wanted to go with my Dad in his suitcase. We love having friends and family visit. The door is always open! Just let us know when you're coming and we'll have cookie bars waiting.
